What We Do

Wayfolk Arts is a community of artist theologians inviting fellow wanderers homeward through art and liturgy.

At the most basic level, we create.

Liturgies, prayers, poems, blessings,
songs, plays, paintings,
sermons, blogs, podcasts,
meditations, worship services,
rituals, liturgical shenanigans,
cups of coffee, loaves of bread, chocolate chip cookies,
Halloween vibes, inappropriate jokes, unfortunate puns,
D&D games, and dinner table invitations.

Who We Are

Wayfolk Arts is a community of artists:
pastor-artists and artist-theologians
pursuing the dual-vocation of artist and minister.

The Crew

How We Do It

We write and talk and perform and make music and host.

WE HAVE A PODCAST!

Come hang out with us as we chat about the liturgical in everyday moments and the sacramental in what is often thought of as mundane.

MORE TO COME SOON!!!

We are actively developing workshops, events, concerts and more. Stay tuned!

Why We Do It

We create
to give voice, to make known, to name,
to notice that which is often kept invisible,
to de-muzzle, to tell the truth,
to name the elephants in the room,
to call out shame and judgment,
to participate in compassion.

We create
in hopes of, through our craft, offering a space

for wonder, for doubt,
for inclusion, for love,
for questions,
for exploration and experimentation,
for tears and rage,
for being seen, for acceptance,
for belonging,

for the journey of waking up to God in our everyday lives.
