Wayfolk Arts is
a community of artist-theologians
inviting fellow wanderers homeward
through art and liturgy.
What We Do
We have an ever growing vault of resources available to all wanderers who engage our website. You can find all our offerings on our Liturgical Life Blog. For access to even more content explore our Patreon.
Our resources incorporate the following themes:
-
Liturgical Life
We believe that all moments in life can be liturgical - the obviously sacred and the seemingly ordinary. Through this practice we acknowledge the holiness of emotional and physical spaces. Crafted for everything from your morning coffee to the unjust realities of this world.
-
Scripture Enactment
It’s amazing what happens when you enact a piece of scripture. What has lain dormant on the page suddenly springs to life and whole new insights, critical opportunities, and resonances emerge from stories that have been heard before but could stand to be heard and seen anew.
-
Congregational Liturgy
Each week, God’s people gather to offer thanks and praise, longings and lament, with the promise that our prayers are heard. From the first words of the service to the benediction, there is something sacred when we lift up words that have been carefully crafted for a meaningful moment, a specific service, a particular people.
-
Poetry
Poetry has the uncanny ability to slow us down—
to take a moment, a snapshot, a glimpse
and invite us to sit in its presence
and breathe.
WE ALSO HAVE A PODCAST!
Come hang out with us as we chat about the liturgical in everyday moments and the sacramental in what is often thought of as mundane.
